GIFT University
GIFT University has emerged as a reputable institution among the frontline universities of the country.
The mission of the university is to help students realize their career dreams. It has established a reputable image both within the region and in the country, with its qualified academic staff, competent graduates, wide range of study choices, well-established teaching, learning and research facilities. The University was established in July 2002.
It is the first Chartered University between Lahore and Islamabad. It has been granted charter by the Government of Punjab and all its degrees are recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The University is one of the pioneers to offer 4-years bachelors programs as per international standards in Pakistan. The University currently offers 4 undergraduate and 3 graduate programs. It conducts 4-years Undergraduate Hons. programs in Computer Science, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, (Morning & Evening) and Textile & Fashion Design. At graduate level, the University has masters programs in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, and English Language and Literature. University is also considering launching 3-years program in Law and a graduate program in Informatics. The programs offered by the University are designed to give students the qualifications, skills and personal attributes to help them compete in the employment market.
University is endeavoring to make further progress to be one of the best institutions in the country. GIFT is in ambitious phase of development, with a number of very significant and exciting plans to strengthen its position as the leading university in the region.
